IWeb User Guide 

The IWeb core application suite is a combination of applications that run on an Internet browser. These applications provide immunization resource management and administration tools to track patients, students, personnel ready to respond to a bio-event, entry of demographic and vaccination information, recruitment progress of potential providers to the registry, and the ability to generate reports.

This is the IWeb User Guide and it covers topics that general users might need to know.

For instructions on administrative tasks such as application configuration settings, see the IWeb Administrator Guide. Also available are the following user guides:

• Child Care Module User Guide - Allows users to view student/patient demographic and vaccination information and create reports
• First Responder Module User Guide - Tracks the demographic and vaccination data for personnel that are authorized to respond to public health emergencies, as well as their contact information and the types of bio-events that they are prepared to respond to
• Health Promotion Module User Guide - Used to track and send health-related mailings to children from birth through the age of six
• Lead Module User Guide - Provides features for use in screenings for lead levels
• Mass Immunizations Module User Guide - Used in the field to conduct quick entry of patient demographic and vaccination information, including inventory for dispensed medication gathered in mass immunization situations
• Provider Recruitment Module User Guide - An interface used to manage and track the recruitment progress of potential registry providers
• School Nurse Module User Guide - Provides school nurses with a special level of access to view patient information and vaccinations, and to create annual reports for the Office of Public Health (OPH)

IWeb Registry Application Features

The IWeb registry application provides patient immunization resource management and administration tools that work together to help perform patient immunization management tasks. Note that IWeb, IWeb registry application, and IWeb core are used interchangeably throughout these user guides.

Depending on the user's access (authorization) level, the following can be performed:

• Search for patients in the central registry (also referred to as the state registry database, or the central database)
• Create and edit patient demographics (first name, last name, address, city, state, etc.)
• Create and edit vaccination records (current and historical)
• Create and edit names of physicians and vaccinators
• Create and edit vaccine inventory information (lot numbers, manufacturers, etc.)
• Run and print reports
• Submit queries and reports for Reminder Recall appointments
• Send imports to the central registry (upload external data to the central registry (for example, billing systems, vital records, Medicaid, etc.)
