Administrative users for a facility can define their Mass Immunization Module defaults for a clinic (Settings > Facility Settings). Once the default settings are set for the facility, the defaults for all users linked to the facility using the Mass Immunization Module or the standard IWeb application will be set. However, these settings are independent of each other - you can define different defaults between the two applications for the same facility for the same time period. For example, a lot number defined as a default in Mass Immunizations is not automatically the default in the standard IWeb application, unless that same lot number is defined in IWeb. Also, individual users may override these facility settings by entering their own personal settings (if the Use Facility Settings option located above Patient Settings on the Personal Settings page is deselected/disabled).
The Facility Settings page is only available to the Registry Client, Organization (IRMS) Client, and Facility Client with the Default Vaccination Management permission. Once this is configured, the Facility link will appear under the Settings menu. Users can then enter the default settings for the facility they are linked to in their login credentials. IRMS users must select a facility prior to setting the defaults.
The six categories of Facility default settings are:

A state-configurable option for facility inventory managers can be set up for a facility to allow the use of facility-wide lot number defaults. If a user does not have lot number defaults set up in their personal settings, the inventory manager's defaults are used. However, if the user does have lot defaults set up in their personal settings, they override the facility inventory manager's settings.
To add a new lot default, click the Default Lot Numbers link, enter the information and click Save. All of the fields are required.
To edit an existing lot default, click Edit, make the updates, and then click Update.
